The former turbine house “Maison de la Turbine” – aka mill – dates back to 1871 and was restored by us over many years with great attention to detail. Today, the mill serves me as a think tank, source of strength and retreat, also for undisturbed and creative planning of my clients’ gardens. When designing the outdoor area, my calling card, it was important to me that the park merges boundlessly with nature and forms a unity. A park that hardly fulfils any of the criteria of my clients’ gardens – here nature and my love of art are in the foreground and in absolute harmony with nature.
Adjacent to the mill property is the “Maison d ́Ecole”, the former parish and school house. A guest house of a special kind, with elegance, cosiness and furnished with antiques and art. The spacious garden merges with the mill park. Guests can enjoy the large mill pond, which is always fed with fresh water from the Schwarzbach.

As the Maison de la Turbine is my private retreat, I am sure you will understand that I only rent out this gem after long-term pre-planning and with a minimum stay of one week.
Please do not enter the property unannounced, as the entire property is video-monitored and secured. My guests and I thank you for protecting our privacy!
Please note that the school garden and the mill park, with direct access to the weirs, are not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
The Mühlen-Weiher is always fed with fresh, running water from the Schwarzbach, so it happens that we have almost no mosquitoes here in the Jaegerthal. So you can enjoy your stay in the garden or directly by the pond, even in the evening, undisturbed without nuisance.
